13th December 2023 Hiking - Walking: Levington Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: 8 Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy and wet Max Speed: Distance Covered: 2.56 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Wednesday 13th December - walk *** – Around Levington - cloudy with some rain. Woke to another day so exercises before packing a picnic lunch we drive to the dentist then head over to Levington Marina to sit in the gloom, spotting a large herd of deer:). We then stopped at Levington creek for a walk but it starts to rain so we continue though Levington village parking near the old Fisons to walk to see a friends donkey in the light rain. We decide to continue along the footpath through the horse paddocks and stables coming out on the Levington lane, turning right to Levington Creek, up the muddy field to the church and back along the lane to the van, getting soaked by some complete knob in a VW van splashing by driving too fast through a puddle! Then home for a cuppa and cake:) We actually quite enjoyed our stroll in the light rain! Photo Album here |
